Kat Peeler’s Biography
Kat Peeler graduated from Science Hill High School in 1981. She was elected as the Vice President of her Senior class and was also chosen as Homecoming Queen. As a National Merit Award honoree, Kat graduated in the top 10% of her class.
Kat earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Princeton University in 1985. After graduation, she moved to St. Louis where she worked as a Software Engineer at HOK Computer Service Corporation. She also pursued her passion for singing as a soprano in the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus and Chamber Chorus. Kat renewed her educational pursuit by earning her Master of Management degree from the
Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1993. After Kellogg, she joined Clairol’s marketing team in New York City for a period of five years.
Kat became a beauty industry leader rising to the level of Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at L’Oréal. Her most significant role during her 17-year career at L’Oréal was leading the Garnier Hair business totaling over $500 million, including Haircare, Styling and Haircolor. Kat was the marketing powerhouse behind Garnier Fructis, which was the largest launch worldwide in L’Oréal's history. She has been featured and quoted in numerous articles and publications, including a profile in the June 2015 online issue of Inc. Magazine. A high-performing senior executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in Strategic Brand Development and Management, Kat continues to be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of successfully transforming business concepts into reality with outstanding results.
Today, Kat is the Founder and CEO of Eco Guar Group, a business that reflects her passions - working towards a greener, sustainable future and contributing to better lives for underprivileged, minority global communities.
