Jenny Brock's Biography

Johnson City Mayor Jenny Brock graduated from Science Hill in 1967, and she served on the Johnson City Schools Board of Education from 2006-2012 before being elected to the City Commission.  She went on to be selected as Johnson City’s 79th Mayor and first female mayor since Jane Myron (2008-2011).  After college at ETSU, Brock went on to excel in the world of business by creating wellness programs for fortune 500 companies. Brock later started the Fit Kids fitness program in Johnson City Schools and she has been a champion for fitness and for the improvements in Johnson City.  She was a leader in starting the annual Turkey Trot 5K race. She also serves as a volunteer for the First Tee program – which encourages children to play golf.
